Providing Oil-Spill Response Solutions to Commercial Shipping Agents on the Delaware Bay.
There are over 1 million barrels of crude oil entering the Delaware Bay on a daily basis, making the Delaware Bay the largest crude oil port on the east coast. DBRC is classified as an Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) in the Delaware Bay, and was formed to respond to oil spills on the open water. DBRC has consistently proven to be effective in rapid response and deployment and remains ready to respond 24hours/day, 7days/week.

24 Hour Emergency Oil Spill Response"
DBRC is ready around the clock and has two response hubs strategically located in the Delaware Bay and River to deploy effective booming strategies. One is located at the University of Delaware College of Marine Studies in Lewes, DE where the 166 ft DELRIVER is docked. The other is located in Marcus Hook, PA where the 68ft DELBAY, a 100 ton oil cleanup vessel is located. Read more and see the fleet in our equipment photo gallery. DBRC has increased response support from different partnerships and organizations throughout the Delaware Bay and River that increases our response capabilities. DBRC is classified by the United States Coast Guard as OSRO (Oil Spill Response Organization) in the Delaware Bay and River.
